چکیده
The study shows an experimental investigation for a solar air collector with single pass by adding rectangular baffles different positions inside the channel. aim of this is to improve thermal efficiency collector, and that through testing four cases (mode 1, 2, 3, 4). was done under operating conditions changing mass flow rates baffles. results show effectiveness in improving also proved affect efficiency, where greatest recorded fourth mode then positioning obstacles at middle channel 2 4 percentage 76.61? 90.9?, rate m=0.0522 kg/s, while pressure drop very high 4, after 2. Through taking into account all results; we can say best case

Determination of energy efficiency and exergy of solar collector bed, operating plate under turbulent nanoscale flow with molybdenum disulfide nanoparticles in different morphologies for tropical regions of Iran
This investigation evaluates the first and second laws of thermodynamics for a flat plate sheet and tube based solar collector located in Abu-Musa Island (in Persian Gulf) in Hormozgan province, Iran where a suspension of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanoparticles with different shapes in water is the working fluid. The main aim of this study is to analyze morphology effects of MoS2 nanoparticle...
متن کاملThe Effect of the Variation of Volume Flow Rate on the Thermal Parameters of a Solar Air Collector with a Single Pass of Air: Case Study for Laghouat, Algeria
The effect of the volume flow rate of the heat transfer fluid (air) on the thermal parameters of the solar air collector with a single air pass without using fins under the absorbing plate have been investigated experimentally and theoretically. We use a new design of solar air collector which aims to optimize these parameters in the region cited above. Our solar air collector was realized at t...
متن کاملThermal Hydraulic Performance in a Solar Air Heater Channel with Multi V-Type Perforated Baffles
This article presents heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics in a solar air heater (SAH) channel with multi V-type perforated baffles. The flow passage has an aspect ratio of 10. The relative baffle height, relative pitch, relative baffle hole position, flow attack angle, and baffle open area ratio are 0.6, 8.0, 0.42, 60 ̋, and 12%, respectively. The Reynolds numbers considered in the stud...
متن کاملSolar Thermal Collector System Modeling and Testing for Novel Solar
Solar cookers are aimed at reducing pollution and desertification in the developing world. However, they are often disregarded as they do not give users the ability to cook after daylight hours. The Wilson solar cooker is a solar cooker designed to address this problem by converting solar energy and storing that energy as heat in the form of molten salt (lithium nitrate). This thesis involved r...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
